Join us for the 2018 Hensville Park Concert Series


Hensville and the Toledo Mud Hens are excited to kick off the 2018 Hensville Park Concert Series on the Owens Corning Stage. The line-up features a variety of music styles including country and blues and Southern rock. The concerts take place at the intimate Hensville Park, adjacent to Fifth Third Field.

Saturday, July 7: Blues Traveler - TICKETS AND INFO

More than three decades ago, the blues-rock band was among the new generation of young jam bands following in the steps of bands like the Grateful Dead. Today, the group is known for their improvisational live shows having played over 2,000 live shows and 30 million people. Throughout their career the band has released 20-full length albums, with the most recent, Blow Up the Moon, being a collaborative effort featuring a range of artists across the musical spectrum. Their hit “Run-Around” is the longest-charting radio single in Billboard history and earned them a Grammy® for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.

 

Thursday, August 23: Blackberry Smoke - TICKETS AND INFO

Formed in 2000 and hailing from Atlanta Georgia, Blackberry Smoke is one of the most acclaimed, respected and successful southern rock bands today. Their sixth album, Find a Light, to be released on April 6, is a heavy dose of Blackberry Smoke and is also heavy on collaboration. The group has “logged hundreds of thousands of miles” performing throughout the United States and abroad continuing to explore the many facets of their art. They have appeared both as a headliner and as the supporting act for artists such as Zac Brown Band, Eric Church and ZZ Top.

 

Thursday, September 6: Montgomery Gentry with Special Guest Dillon Carmichael - TICKETS AND INFO

With 20-plus charted singles, the Kentucky-born duo earned Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music awards as well as a GRAMMY nomination with undeniable blue-collar anthems such as “Hell Yeah,” “My Town,” and “Hillbilly Shoes.” They’ve notched five No. 1 singles and were inducted as Grand Ole Opry members in 2009. Montgomery Gentry’s long-awaited studio album, HERE’S TO YOU debuted in February. The emotional return to the stage is the first time member Eddie Montgomery will be touring without the late Troy Gentry, who passed away last September in a helicopter crash. In honor of Gentry and their nearly two decades-worth of chart-topping Country music, guests can expect to hear their greatest hits mixed with anticipated Here’s to You tracks.

Event Seating: Hensville Park provides the perfect venue for an intimate concert experience with the open air and laid-back atmosphere. Concert-goers can bring their own chairs and blankets into Hensville Park, but they are asked to bring short-legged beach-style chairs so not to obstruct the view of other lawn patrons.
